Installing seperate breaker box??

I accidently wrote breaker box in the title but I meant to say meter. Not sure how to edit it.

The units have separate breaker boxes, I just have to split the meters.

Looking at a MFH in Anne Arundel county that's not separately metered for electricity. Has anyone done this recently? I'm trying to get a ballpark cost and any other headaches that come with it. Thanks BP.

Check the tax records to see it is a legal multiunit. One meter is indicative to me its likely only a legal 1 unit.
