Hi ,

When looking for professionals, such as property managers,  is something like Yelp a good place to start as far as choosing one. Also, is it better to find a firm that has everyone under one roof, or chose each yourself? That is if you know where to begin.

Most serious real estate investors won't use Yelp so I wouldn't look there.

I would start here NARPM.org.

I like to find property managers with lots of designations.  The designations themselves may or may not mean much but it is an indication of how serious they are about managing rentals.  That differentiates them from a real estate agent who does that on the side for a few extra $$.
