New Investor in Michigan

Jerome Kim
Posted

Hello everyone!

I am moving back to Metro Detroit in a month and looking to start investing in real estate. Over the last several months, i've been diving deep into learning as much as I can through books, podcasts, Bigger Pockets, etc, and finally decided that I wanted to kick off my journey where I grew up! I'm primarily focused on buy and hold SFH or 2-4 unit homes in Macomb County and Oakland County . I am also interested in house hacking my first property. With that being said, does anyone have any recommendations for investor-friendly lenders and/or investor-friendly real estate agents? Even if you don't, I am always open to connect with local investors!

I look forward to hearing from everyone.

Thanks,

Jerome

Hey Jerome,

i currently have some properties in Pontiac. Based on my experience so far, I would recommend the following people/businesses:

Realtor: Jeff Todd (Keller Williams Paint Creek)

Broker: Tom Ciosek (Lakeside Advantage)

property Manager: AG Management in Royal Oak

Please message me for more specific details and I wish you the best of luck!
