Zoning Question For Property Located In Kalamazoo

Hello BP,

I came across a property that is zoned as a Single Family Residential, but the seller claims that it's a Duplex since it's a 2 unit (1 up, 1 down). I found out that it was zoned as RM-36, and I was wondering if any of you guys have any expertise on that and if you guys can share what RM-36 means.
