Buying rental properties in Laredo, TX?

Hello, Y'all

Has anyone bought rental properties in Laredo, Texas before? Which areas do I stay away from or what areas are developing? Laredo has its own unique trade/logistics based economy because I 35 starts there then up to SA.

Hope all is well. I just moved to Laredo, Tx from Miami I'm in the process of refin and invest here in Laredo. Does Laredo have any real estate meet up groups?
