Networking in College Station Texas. Looking for agents/attorneys

Hi all,

I've recently made the jump into real estate and I am looking to buy houses in College Station around A&M. I was wondering if anyone knew of any decent agents/contractors/Attorneys in the area? I'm very new to networking and I'm not quite sure how to tell if an agent, contractor, or attorney is truly experienced with investors. If anyone has any references or even knowledge on HOW to network in these situations that would be amazing! Thank you!

Hi @Dylan Hunter, you're in a good place to start your real estate investment, but I would not focus on a house.  You are in location full of duplexes and that is going to give you the lowest risk and biggest bang for your buck for a newbie.  I bought my first duplex in Bryan in 2003 and still own it.  I live in Austin, but go to all the Aggie home football games.  I own 2 duplexes and one four plex in Bryan as well as manage another duplex for my daughter.  If you DM, I will give you my phone and I probably could give you some good advice.  Cheers.
