Looking for San Diego Meet Ups

I am trying to find information on San Diego Meet Ups but am having trouble finding any information. Does anyone know of any meetups in the San Diego area? I'm located in San Diego, but am actually investing out of state. However, I'd still like to meet and network with other real estate investors. I'm sure there are others in San Diego that are investing out of state too. Thanks!

Hi All, Though I have yet to attend (hopefully the next one!), the most prominent SD Meetup on BP appears to be 'Beers and Deals' which is hosted once per month at alternating locations: Stone Brewery in Escondido and Stone Brew Pub in Liberty station. Per the link, the next one is Sept 16 in Liberty Station. Hope to see you there!

I have gone to the Beer and Deals meet up a few times (4 or 5 times) and it advertises itself as a social gathering and that is correct. There is no presentation on any subject, no teaching, just discussing RE with other people interested in RE. However, an issue is that most of the people who show us are newbies. My guess is more than half do not have any RE. Many (maybe most) have plans for OOS but have a lot to learn and not much to offer. On the positive it is free.

If you want to socialize with people that are interested in RE then this Meet up is OK. It is nice to talk with people who share an interest in RE. I do enjoy it otherwise I would not have gone 4 or 5 times. However, I find it less worth my time than other meet up options.

If you want to learn some facet of RE, want to network with a higher percentage of successful RE investors, and/or get investment opportunities then the other RE Meet ups are probably a better choice. Most of these have a small charge that is not for the organizer to make money but to pay for the location, snacks when provided, etc.

The last one I went to (In August) had a presentation from an expert of Mobile Home flips. I have no desire to flip mobile homes but it was interesting and he offers any investor an outstanding return (via notes) with a long track record of the notes being good. That is just one example. I have gone to meet ups at flips (2). Meet ups at BRRRR (at least 2). Meet ups at new construction (1). I wish I had gone to one at a BRRRR ADU addition. The attendees at these meet ups, on average, are significantly more knowledgeable than the attendees at the Beers and Deals Meet up (it use used to be called something like RE Social).

I suggest going to the Beer and Deals Meet UP and going to some of the other RE Meet ups. You will find the right RE meet up for you.
