Multifamily Wealth Nation (MWN)

I’m looking for insight specifically on the networking and investor access side of Multifamily Wealth Nation—not the coaching or education component.

For context, I’m not new to this space. I currently have a 112-unit multifamily deal under contract and am working through final due diligence. Over the past couple of years, I’ve been part of several education groups—one in particular has provided real mentorship and I’ll continue to stay closely aligned there. This is “my” 1st deal with a sponsor that has had 20 years experience and multiple properties he operates, met in my main mentor/advisory group.

I’ve been an executive in healthcare for past 30 years and in parallel building my commercial real estate portfolio. Spent 3 years networking through groups, majority are same journey looking for capital to fund their own deals.

At this stage, I’m not looking for more education.

What I am looking for is access to a stronger investor network and meaningful relationships with active capital partners.

For those who are part of Multifamily Wealth Nation (or similar groups), I’d really value perspective on a few things:

  • Are there active investors in the group writing checks, or is it primarily other capital raisers/operators?
  • Have you personally seen deals get funded through relationships built inside the community?
  • What level of investor quality are you actually interacting with (check size, experience, repeat investors)?
  • Is the environment more transactional, or are there real long-term partnerships forming?
  • If your goal was specifically to build an investor base, would you join again?

I’m trying to understand if this is a room where capital is actually moving—or primarily a network of people trying to get there.

Appreciate any candid feedback, especially from those who have been inside for a meaningful period of time

Disclaimer: I’m currently a coach inside Multifamily Wealth Nation focused on capital raising.

I’ve been in multiple multifamily masterminds since 2019, and one thing I’ve learned is that there’s no group where you join and suddenly have a pool of LPs waiting to write checks.

Most communities today (MWN included) are a mix of:

  • Experienced Operators
  • Capital raisers/Fund Managers
  • People trying to become GPs
  • Some passive investors

So the dynamic you described is pretty common everywhere. That said, I would say the founders of MWN separate themselves by their attention to detail and care. They're genuinely trying to help their students succeed and aim to provide a best-in-class experience for students (education, upscale private events, resources). They understand the long-term success of their program is based on how many students find success.

To your questions:

Are there active investors?
Yes, but it’s not an LP marketplace. You’ll find investors, but you still need to build relationships.

Have deals been funded through the group?
Yes. I’ve personally seen deals get done through relationships formed inside. One recent example — a 22-year-old closed an 82-unit leveraging connections from the community.

Investor quality?
A lot of people are transitioning from residential/smaller deals into larger multifamily. Some solid investors, but not a room full of institutionalcheck writers if that's what you're looking for.

Transactional or long-term?
Long-term. Culture is relationship-focused, not “quick flip” partnerships.

Would I join just to raise capital?
No. If that’s your only goal, this isn’t the right expectation for a group like MWN.

Overall, MWN is a solid group with great people and strong culture. Founders genuinely care, and they’re selective about who they bring in.

But like any group, capital doesn’t just “live” there. That said, there are students in the group deploying capital and doing deals as both LPs/GPs.

Good luck on your call with them. Feel free to DM if you'd like to discuss more one-on-one.
