I want to introduce myself to all of you in the Boise BP community. I am a full-time Civil Engineer/part time investor and I will be relocating to Boise from Bend with my girlfriend in the next 2-3 months. I am active in the Kansas City, MO market looking for my first rental investment property, but now would like to shift my focus to acquiring a small MFH to house hack when we move to Boise. I understand the market is competitive and overpriced, but I'm ready to start getting in to the mix.
I'm pre approved with conventional lenders, as well as HM lenders. I'd love to buy something that is outdated or in need of rehab as I have a construction background and can put in the sweat equity.
I'd also love to join the local REI groups and events to start networking with other investors. No sweat if you're not a part of a REI group. If you're investing in the area, let's connect! I love chatting real estate. (Oh, and I'll need to make some new friends)
Looking forward to hearing from you!
@Colby GeDeros I'm an agent here in Boise and our team Boise Turnkey works with a lot of OOS investors, and I love the house hacking strategy would love to chat shooting you a PM.
I'll DM you. I'm happy to get you connected here in Boise and help find your next deal.
I'm born and raised in Boise and have been in real estate for 21 years now. I invest, am a full-time Realtor, own and manage short term rentals and house hack.
Welcome to Boise!! I'm always looking for new friends to chat REI with too, help to help if you help any questions 😃.
Welcome to Boise! I'm a structural engineer—not quite civil, but close—and real estate investor in Boise. I love nothing more than chatting real estate over a beer... Shoot me a PM if you want to meet up sometime!
Welcome to free America. I’m a semi retired contractor and active landlord of a few SFHs. Hopefully you’re leaving Oregon politics in Oregon. You chose a difficult time to buy in the Treasure Valley. Just know it’s kind of a free for all out there in the Boise area right now. Political refugees from California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado and points east are driving prices through the roof. It’s been great for me but hard on buyers. Since you’re only in Bend you should really try to come to town and see for yourself how brutal the competition is. I expect that you’re not too late to the party to get in on some hefty appreciation as this place grows exponentially.
