Should I form a LLC?

Posted

Hey BP community! My name is Haneesh and this is my first post, but have been following the forums for a few years now. I recently got my real estate license and joined a brokerage. Some of my friends and mentors have suggested forming an LLC for my real estate business. I will be reaching out to an accountant for his recommendations, but would love to hear your thoughts and experiences.

Also if anyone is interested in connecting and building a network in Chicagoland with market trends, areas for growth, property analysis, etc. I would be happy to talk. I am actively looking for investment properties in Naperville and would love to share my knowledge if anyone is interesting.

Thanks!

Thanks for the through response@Kerry Baird. This definitely helps and I will keep this in mind when I begin investing in rental properties. Will definitely watch Mark J Kohler on YouTube!
