I am in the Chicagoland area and looking for a lender to refinance my home into an investment property. Any suggestions on who I should reach out to to start shopping around for best rates? I have talked with a few and Rocket Mortgage. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi BiggerPockets community! I was wondering if anyone has any advice on banks for line of credit. Preferably a local credit union in the Chicagoland area. @Jonathan Klemm Thanks for the reply, much appreciated! Yes, I understand that an LLC is for asset protection but I also see it as an opportunity to build business credit. I think it also just makes it easier to separate income and expenses for rentals when it tax season. Would love to stay connected with you.

Hey BP community! My name is Haneesh and this is my first post, but have been following the forums for a few years now. I recently got my real estate license and joined a brokerage. Some of my friends and mentors have suggested forming an LLC for my real estate business. I will be reaching out to an accountant for his recommendations, but would love to hear your thoughts and experiences.

Also if anyone is interested in connecting and building a network in Chicagoland with market trends, areas for growth, property analysis, etc. I would be happy to talk. I am actively looking for investment properties in Naperville and would love to share my knowledge if anyone is interesting.
