Color schemes

I am doing some maintenance on my primary residence and I am horrible with picking out colors, what color countertops with the kitchen cabinetry? what to do for backsplash? Interior and exterior paint colors to match accessories?... Does anyone know of a book, training cirriculum, youtube channel or any other way to learn how to be a better designer???

Thanks in advance

Jeff, I did the smart thing...I married an interior designer and got the heck out of the way.
