Wood fence stain. Then, rain.

Hi all,

I had old unstained wood fence. I hired a company to power wash and stain (using oil based stain). They did it on a sunny day. But, after about 10 hours after the work, it rained a lot.

I see many spots that appears that the stain got washed away. What would you recommend? Should I apply another coat of stain?

Have you contacted the company that did the work?  We had a house repainted a few weeks ago and it rained unexpectedly and they came back and addressed  the issues from the rain.  I would reach out to them as they knew what the downside was if it rained and should have checked the forecast before starting the job.
