What are your opinions on Concrete Staining?

I am flipping a sensor condo, and trying to make it more unique than the other thousand units they have. There is a small concrete porch that I’m thinking of staining, or possibly painting to look like wooden planks.
My wife thinks it looks tacky, so searching out some other opinions from experienced professionals such as yourself.
Let me know if my wife is right on this one like she is on everything else!

Thanks team,

Sean

Have you thought about using acacia tiles?

Probably not the best solution if there will be a dog out there, but for humans it might be something to consider.
