Okay, bought a property today which included this little painted brick house on the back of the property. It is currently rented as a SFH with a long-term tenant. Just thinking ahead to when this property becomes vacant and trying to make it into something a little more attractive. I know there isn't much to work with, but wondered if anyone has any creative ideas. Is there any hope? LOL The far right side that I don't have a picture of, is covered with English Ivy, which our insurance company said needs to come off right away. I guess this building used to be a bank way back in the day, so is almost a historical building in our little town. Thanks for taking time to read this, and I would love some input. Thanks!

@Erin K.

Here are some ideas...  Add canopy over front porch with columns.  This could be higher than the main roof.    add roof overhangs on the gable ends.    I would define the planting beds better, like higher.  Add historic detailing?  If the chimney projects from the house, I would paint this the dark color.  Can you add a covered portico for parking?  Historic gas light pole?

As for color...  Im feeling kinda brown like a dark wainscot Sherwin Williams SW 7504 Keystone Gray up to the window sills.  Then paint the top half SW 9180 Aged White (cream color). Trim (gutters, ds, window and door trim) colors of SW 7028 Incredible White.   they also likes an aqua but I would pass on using this color.  Black could substituted for the trim color.
