Nest Thermostat

I am really interested in the Nest thermostat for my two unit property as I pay the heat, however the property does not have wifi so I wouldn't be able to access it from my phone. Is it worth it to get some sort of wifi installed so I can check in on/control the heat?

Oh my gosh, yes.
The concern lies that your tenants can still increase/decrease the temperature at will.
The nest "learns" settings, so once per week you'd need to review your settings as the tenant will change them.
Also, you can set minimum and maximum temperatures.

I use them in all my properties along with the smoke detectors they make.
I believe the thermostats are $50 off right now.

Hope it helps!
