Costs to Build on Empty Lot

Hello BP Members,

I am interested in buying an empty lot and taking on a 1,500 sq ft new build. I would use the basic of every material if possible. It could be a resale or I could hold on to the new home for future resale. I would rent it in the meantime.

Are there websites that can help me estimate materials? I could call a few General Contractors, but I wanted to know some numbers first.

Any advice is welcomed.
