Flips in the winter

How does everyone handle flips in the winter in cold weather areas? Specifically I'm starting one where many of my contractors want to wait for warmer weather for some of the exterior painting and staining. I'm hoping to have the house sold by then. Is anyone else painting/staining the exterior in winter months? How?

I would take a picture and mock up what it will look like, then put that as your first image in the MLS, noting that it is a mock-up and that funds for exterior renovation will be escrowed at closing.
