What style windows should this House have?

Question

I purchased this house to flip and will be replacing the windows,  should I use windows with the white grids or not?  Also what would you think I could add to the front/yard to improve curb appeal?

if you can get that that album or photo, you'll see the windows i used in front were sliders and i think they looked good

a couple of those windows may be cheaper going with sliders than double hungs because they're so big...post war ranches around here have those huge windows and i do a slider...they look great...i wouldn't use grids bc those windows are so big, but that's in my area...

IMO, if I were going to replace them I would use white, double hungs with removable grids, they should be cheaper. Hopefully, they are standard sizes

A large photo would help.  True divided lite windows would look OK, but the fake kind with the plastic grid between the glass - that is on the way out.  I would not bother.  With real large windows like this, I'll often install a large picture window with an operable side panel.  I'm a fan of casement windows because they do not have a horizontal bar in the sightline.  There are a lot of affordable but well made vinyl casements available these days.  Go with white.

Now about the trim color, I feel you could do a warmer color to bring out the warmth that is in the stone.  The front door could be a strong but deepish red.

I agree a picket fence could work if you could picture it in the neighborhood.

This house is lacking any porch.  I'm not sure how big your budget is, but adding a porch with columns and a new roof element would make it sing.

Just my opinion, I like the white frames. And I look for nice fences in front yards because I have kids and want dogs. Maybe a stone path to the door. Just my dream home stuff. :)
