Linoleum Flooring and Laminate Countertops Pricing

What is a conservative for laminate countertops and linoleum flooring? I was walking through with a contractor at a potential property where our exit strategy would be a rental. The prices he quoted me seemed high.

1) Kitchen: Laminate counter tops at $36 per linear ft
2) Living Area: "wood" linoleum flooring at $3.50 per sq ft

Do these prices seem reasonable to you? I know cost will vary from location to location, but I would like some additional insight here.'

Thanks

EDIT: Typo, linoleum flooring was $3.50 per sq ft not 15. I updated original message to reflect this.

Both seem extremely high. Here are my prices that I get from my contractor in Ohio

Laminent flooring 1.25 a square foot installed
Granite countertops 29 square foot with installation.

I would find another sub contractor for those jobs. Depending on the number of homes you do you could negotiate a better rate.
