Home Assistance Funds

For those who invest in distressed debt, I recommend talking with your servicer as well as reaching out to several states for Housing Assistance Funds. For example I believe in Michigan a borrower may get up to $25,000 and in Maine its up to $50,000. I was in mediation yesterday for a case in Maine where it looks like the borrower qualifies for $50,000 which the check would go directly to us...

Not too shabby. Definitely recommend people atleast do some research.
