Any experienced lien/note investors in the Bay Area?

Hi–

Recently I've been doing a lot of research on liens and notes (books/PPR blog/forums) and I'm looking to take the plunge. Are there any lien/note investors in the Bay Area (CA) who would let me buy them coffee or a beer and talk shop? I'm based in Oakland – happy to meet in the East Bay or the City. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
