Columbus Ohio: North Hilltop vs North Linden
Hello, I recently came across some properties in the North Hilltop area and North Linden (directly south of Weber) these properties are all fairly the same size 2bed x 1 bath at 1,000SF or 3bed x 1 bath at 1,100 SF, price ranges are 80K to about 100K. My question for those familiar with the area, which area is preferable for long term buy and hold. I'm aware of the crazy appreciation in Linden area but it is still very block by block.

Neighborhoods were built over 20-years apart, Linden in newer, has lower taxes, the properties are smaller and sell for a premium price per sq.ft. over Hilltop...Linden has 2x the sales volume and a better balance of conventional loans...likely more owner-occupants and diversity in the community.
This is a very specific search...based on your rough criteria....let me know if you really want to dig in and look at price trends, etc.
