Getting ready to close in 13 days on a new construction home. Just found out there is a crack forming in a line across my kitchen tile and on the brick on the exterior wall.
Waiting to hear back from the engineers report...
Looking for suggestions on a good inspector for a reasonable price who will look out for my best interest.
Very thorough buyer's-side inspectors that I've used:
And another that I haven't yet used but is on my short list: Felix Ruvalcaba
My guy is Perry Zelner, great inspector. PM me for contract info.
New construction should have a 10 year warranty for structural issues.
Thank you all for your suggestions, I appreciate it.
Taye, would you suggest still doing an inspection, even though it's new construction? I assume it's always necessary in order to protect my interests
