Anyone invested in Duplexes?!

Hey everyone,

I am new to real estate investing and thinking about starting with a duplex.  I would likely want to buy and move in myself, and then rent out the other half.

Have any of you in the DFW area (I live in Plano) invested in Duplexes before?  What is a good area of town to purchase one?  Anything to watch out for?

I'm eager!!
