Denton County Connections
Howdy y'all! I feel lucky to have found this forum. I'm currently in construction and have managed to save up around 50k. I'm really trying hard to get into real estate investing but wherever or whoever I reach out to seems to end up being a scam. My short term goals and what seems practical to me is: buying a house that needs some work. Fixing it up and ultimately renting it out. I'm interested in some meet ups as well but I feel I may be out of place in uptown. I'm also looking to get my realtor license but don't know how that works without having a sponsoring broker. If there's anyone having some meet ups in the Denton county area let me know. Thanks

My girlfriend and I recently graduated from UNT and are looking into Denton for investments as well. We are both in finance (trader and analyst) and are not enjoying the corporate world at all, so we are looking to build a real estate business instead. Hopefully we see you at a Denton county meetup or Sherry's meetup in Euless at some point in the future. Also, let me know if you guys meet up for coffee and maybe we can start a small meetup of our own or something as well.
