Buying Property in Belize
Hello BP friends,
I am headed down to Belize next week and I wanted to get some advice from anyone who has owned, or has looked into owning property in Belize. I travel to Belize often as I have a business there and I am looking to buy 10+ acres of property on the highway in the southern district of Toledo near the new southern border to Guatemala. What are your thoughts and advice?

@William Hamburg I've previously invested in 20+ markets and have now transitioned 100% out of the U.S. and am now focused entirely on sustainable development, particularly in Belize. Lots of areas experiencing growth down there, tourism is strong and foreign ownership laws are favorable.
Southern Highway in the Toledo District can be an excellent location depending on your objective. My partner and I currently own 7,000 acres just a mile south of the Southern Highway, in between Punta Gorda and Placencia. PM me if you have any questions...
