So here's the thing...

I know we all start somewhere. I have been a licensed Realtor with Keller Williams for about 6 months, have closed a few deals and have learned that being a Realtor isn't really my passion. I am really interested in the investment (both residential and commercial) side of RE.

So, I applied to work with New Western Realty but was told they want me to graduate college first (I am a senior at UNT and am graduating this time next year).

I know I can jump into wholesaling deals but I REALLY want to find an opportunity to learn all the details of deals with a company/group so I don't end up making a huge mistake on a deal of my own with no experience.

I can read read read all I want but I want to jump in.

Any suggestions fellow BP members? Would be greatly appreciated.

Impatience can cause a lot of problems. Personal experience is the hardest way to learn. Learning at the feet of someone who is where you want to be is the preferred way to learn.

You seem to be on a path to learn from personal experience. People that make mistakes due to impatience usually can not see that impatience is the cause of the bad descions.

That said, as long as you do not quit and keep getting back up after every failure, you will get to where you want to be.
