Hello, I was recently invited to attend a real estate seminar that was held by a program by the name of FortuneBuilders. It was started and is operated by Than Merrill. At the end of the three day event I was asked to join his Mastery program to the tune of $50K. Has anyone here ever actually joined this Mastery program and can provide some honest feedback as to its effectiveness? Thanks in advance.

I have not joined his Mastery program.

But there really isn't much difference from guru to guru. They flip and/or wholesale a few houses, get a show, shamelessly self promote themselves, then pimp their name out, sit back and collect massive fees. Sometimes they come up with cute nicknames for themselves. The most important lesson you will learn is when you give someone $50k, you no longer have $50k, they do. If you give someone $50k you should expect to get a house back in return, not success stories and cheerleading.
