Anyone got a good Online Fax Service?

Question

I'm looking for something that will give me a local number and allow for incoming AND outgoing faxes.

I currently use grasshopper for incoming faxes and fax.com for outgoing.

It's disappointingly AMAZING that neither or these services allow for both incoming and outgoing.

I use Rapidfax which goes right to my email.  For folks that use fax, it is a lot quicker for most than scanning.  I even send faxes to myself then blast them off as an email on occasion.  I love that I do not have to print out my faxes and waste paper!  The cost is $9.95 a month...

I use MyFax also, and have had no issues.  It's not a flat fee for me, but I probably have the most basic plan -- I think it's $8 for up to 200 pages/month, or something along those lines.

I use MyFax - I've used them for years with good success and no problems.  Also, it is a flat fee regardless of how much you send or receive.

Updating this thread... as everyone's prices have gone up significantly.

I've looked around and it's the lowest price for only $5 for 500 fax pages (inbound or outbound). You get to pick your own dedicated fax number (local or toll-free) to send and receive faxes. Email confirmations and transmission reports for all faxes. Customer service is very helpful as well. Same as all the other online fax services but more cost effective.

I use Nextiva and haven't had any problems w/ them. I send outbound faxes from my email account to @nextivafax.com and I receive incoming faxes as pdf attachments to my email address.

We use Ring Central Fax Service.  Ring Central is great, as we use it for our company phone number as well.  Probably same as the other guys.
I of course agree that nobody faxes today (at least not in the traditional sense).  The "old school" folks just don't understand that when we fax them we're scanning/emailing and when they fax us it's coming to our email as well.

I used efax at a couple of different businesses.  You can program the incoming faxes to come to multiple email addresses.   You get your confirmation via email.  Like others, I'd prefer not to use faxes at all, but I can't change the rest of the world.  The real estate and contracting business can be a little slow to embrace technology.  And scanners and .pdf editing technology isn't as ubiquitous as printers.

Why on earth do we still use fax at all?

I personally never used efax, but I know some people who use it. They like it. Seems cool that it is all online so you can be traveling and still receive faxs.

But seriously why are we using faxes in 2012?
