Master carpenter: Crown molding

Hello BP, I'm wondering if there is a master carpenter out there who is able to tell me: what are the miter angles for an outside and inside corners for 5 1/4 inch crown. I normally just use the corner boxes to save the headache but I'm hibernating for the winter and have a garage full of saws and boards so I thought I'd practice a bit. I deal with old homes that have paneled walls and so a topper is often needed. We don't have a bunch of carpenters to choose from in my area and I would be wasting their driving time for such a small task. Is there a formula for this cut assuming that the corner is somewhat aligned?
