Kitchen renovation for rental property

Hey BP Nations,

I am currently completing the renovation to my kitchen with a goal to remain under the budget. I do not want to spend too much money on the backsplash and countertops but I don’t know which type ( subway tiles or press on tiles; granite or quartz) of material should I choose. I love suggestion BP Nation. Thank you

quartz is not that expensive especially if you go through a GC that uses a wholesaler, as for backsplash you don't actually need a full backsplash you could do six inches of the same quartz material you used for the countertops and it will look fine.  Tile is likely to be more expensive than quartz/ granite unless you use those ugly giant tiles that look like they are floor tiles.
