Investing in Baltimore

I'll be moving to the Baltimore area next month for work. I've been researching up and coming areas to buy, rehab, live in, then rent. One area that sparks my interest is Greektown. Does anyone else see this as a growing area for young professionals? It's very close to Johns Hopkins and the future Yard 56 shopping complex as well as the highway.
