Thanks for the responses! Are you recommending adding a third bedroom solely based off adding value or your experience/opinion in renting 2 beds versus 3 in that area? I'm not looking for a full rehab - more of a refurbishment of an outdated, yet decently kept unit. I'm also seeing the issues mentioned regarding high prices even for units that have been clearly lived in for decades.

I'll be moving to the Baltimore area next month for work. I've been researching up and coming areas to buy, rehab, live in, then rent. One area that sparks my interest is Greektown. Does anyone else see this as a growing area for young professionals? It's very close to Johns Hopkins and the future Yard 56 shopping complex as well as the highway.
