My name is Derek and I am an active real estate investor. I am also a real estate agent. I am new to the area; just moved here a few weeks ago. There seems to be no meet-ups posted for the area and not many member in the area. I am just reaching out to see if anyone would be interest in meeting up, talking real estate, starting a real estate focused mastermind group (they really work), or just connecting with another agent.

My wife and I own and operate a develop/build/design company in Nashville, TN. We're deeply involved with the local real estate market...primarily on the new construction side.
We just visited Steamboat last weekend. First time "out West". Oh. My. Goodness. We didn't want to come home. Being from the South East, we do a lot of beach vacations. Inevitably, by day 4, we always find ourselves thinking..."this is nice, but I could be home right now and be okay with that." Not the case in Steamboat. We were kidding around about having the in-laws stick the kiddos on a plane and fly them out so we could stay longer!
1/2 way jokingly, 1/2 way not...we started looking at properties tonight just to see what the listings turned up. We have a lot of research to do, but, Lord willing...our first STRP will be in Steamboat...in the not so distant future!
