Hi Everyone!

Im a newer member to Bigger Pockets and would like to connect with some of you who are in Atlantic Canada - Specifically New Brunswick, Nova-Scotia and Prince Edward Island.

Where are you located? Whats happening near you in R/E and for opportunities?

The climate in the maritimes differs so much depending on where you invest..

Welcome to BP Devon.

I have properties in Saint John and Halifax. Feel free to contact me if you want to chat anything investing-related.

The Halifax market is hot right now. We're seeing very short DOM and multiple bids. Lots of competition. Market is expected to continue appreciating faster than historical values.

I don't recommend Saint John for investing unless you've really done your homework. There's lots of potential disasters waiting to happen. The price points are lower, and there's some great opportunities IF you've got a great team in place, you have some experience, and you've researched the city thoroughly. After all that, if you're getting into any of the old buildings you'll want to spend a lot of time on your due diligence!

Looking forward to hearing about your next investment!

T :)
