You have to love home owners...

So I just went and talked to a person about a potential house to buy. We met at the house, he shows me around, we are talking and I’m building rapport. The house needed some work and it wasn’t too much work. Then we sat down I said “we are investors and we won’t offer you retail price.” Then gave him my offer. He then got REALLY offended, told me the offer was highway robbery and said he isn’t ready to sell. It was a reasonable offer and he didn’t want to let it go for under top dollar!

Its always a good move to start off by telling them you wont pay them what their house is worth.
