I'm new to REI but my professional training is in epidemiology and I'm happy to add value by discussing the outbreak. Obviously, we can't know what the future holds but there are some pretty standard principles in place. Stay safe out there!

How many unconfirmed cases are there in the US (and worldwide)?  What is the true mortality rate by age cohort (including unconfirmed cases)?  If we can't define the problem, we can't fix it and uncertainty and fear will reign.
