Looking for advice about getting more experience

Hello everyone, I just wanted to hop on here and see what kind of advice I could get for my current situation. I have been on BP for a while now and I have learned a lot through the forums, podcast and the many other things BP has to offer. I am currently living in the Kansas City area completing my degree as well working a full time job and part time real estate agent( and saving money for my first deal). I like the job I have right now but I want to get into a career field that has more to do with real estate. I just wanted some advice on a job market I should look into or any other paths I could take to get more experience in real estate investing and just real estate in general. Thank you Taylor Brooks

Depends on what you want to do with real estate. If you want to flip houses, you could do worse than if you worked for a general contractor or in one of the trades related to building/rehabbing homes (electrician, plumber, carpentry, HVAC, etc). If you want to work in lending, try to get some work with a related lender to learn more about the financial end of things.
