What makes a WINNING business card?

Question

Every successful businessperson or investor always has a stack of their business cards with them. They can hand them to clients, leave them on urinals, or just use them as a means to, "hey, call me later and we will talk more about this proposition."

My question to those of you out there that are finding success, what makes a winning business card? Colors, shine, putting a stack of cash on the front to catch people's eyes? I am going to be making business cards in a couple weeks here, and would hear to see what you all have to say!

Those are definitely the essentials, for sure, thanks. More specifically, Im talking about the design and or style.

Everything that needs to be on there, nothing that doesn't. Most of the bad cards I've seen are like looking at a little book. Occasionally I've seen bad cards that are nothing more than "James Bond, Man of Mystery" cards, which are just as bad.

Our cards have our company name, website, phone number, and slogan. That's it. We don't even bother with the mailing address or anyone's name. No one cares about that stuff, in my opinion. By keeping the individual's name off the card, I can allow surrogates to use the cards as necessary (for example, when someone unaffiliated with our company is showing/working at a property and someone asks for contact information). If you are just you, then you might want your name on the card, if you think someone knowing your name specifically is helpful for your business.
