Craigslist marketing in your area

When I first started rei I turned to craigslist as a definite form of finding cash buyer leads but after 6 months, it seems to get me nothing but dead leads.

I get tons of sign ups to my buyers lists but they dont really seem like cash buyers. They're just taking up MB's in my undisclosed amount of web space.

I noticed that in Tampa, on craigslist, its flooded with other wholesalers who are trying to do the same thing Im doing so that leaves me saying "if I were a cash buyer, would I go through this" and I come up with no.

I was wondering how is craigslist marketing for buyers and trying to sell your properties working out in your area.

Is it flooded with wholesalers or easy going?

Have you flipped many properties on CL?

I know this thread is about craigslist, but I just thought I'd mention that I found my last buyer right here on BP. Did you know there's nearly 700 BP members in Florida? Surely there are a few buy and hold types, a few rehabbers, some lenders.

I went through my colleague list first, but you can always start checking profiles and status. Many of them will tell you exactly what they're looking for right there. How might it go when you contact them out of the blue with what they're looking for? :kewl:

I'd rather give back to BP Nation than shoot craps....
