Websites that gives you leads?

Question

Has anybody ever used one of these websites that sells you leads to deals on properties? I was wondering if anybody has had success by using one of these sites or is it a scam of some sort.

I guess I will be the lone dissenter in this chat. I have used 2 lead generation companies. PropertyLeadsNow.com and FastHomeOffers.com. I have had success with both. But like any other marketing source, you get a lot of junk. I would say that about 1 in 30 leads result in an appointment and about 1 in 5 of those result in a sale. At a price of about $30 per lead, that's a cost of around $4500 per sale. My wholesale fees run about $10,000.

It isn't my best lead source by far, but it can be a good supplement. This is just my 2 cents. Take it for what it's worth.

I agree with Harrison, I have tried one company that charges $60 per month and $200 to start up and I only received leads the first few days of the month and the last few.  I figured the leads were to get me excited about starting the month and when I was about to quit they started up their ppc again. average five leads per month and none were in my city.

If you learn to develop your own leads, including doing so through your own website, you'll probably save yourself a lot of money and get better leads.

In my opinion, depending on others to generate leads for you is not a good choice.

There are no "quick" ways to grow a business. It is done by hours of marketing, networking, and relationship building.

While there are probably a few websites that can deliver, I would feel confident stating that most will over-promise and under-deliver. The time and money you spend in finding that "magic company" could be better served elsewhere.

Even if one of the sites were able to create enough leads for someone to squeak by, it could create some lazy networking/marketing habits.

These are habits that will always be the foundation of your long term business success and must be practiced.
