How to let folks comment on my blog?

Question

I can't seem to figure out how to activate commentary on my blog.  I'd like to get feedback from folks who read it and answer questions etc.  Thanks in advance for any help with this!

Hey Michael Wagner I see why - the link, in your bio here on the forums, is going to your blog home page, not to the article. Your blog home page contains a list of all the blogs you've written, but since you've only written one, it looks as if it's the post. Click on the title, and you'll go to the post.

It's kinda like the BP Blog home page here: http://www.biggerpockets.com/renewsblog  - you can't comment on this page, only if you click an article.

Kinda confusing, I know!

Anyone who is your colleague can send you a PM here on the site.  Otherwise, they can comment on your blog post by leaving feedback below your post -- they do need to be logged in to do so, though.

I apologize if I wasnt clear in my question.  I have been PM by folks who want to contact but arent able to find an option to do so.  I didnt know if I had to "enable" that feature or if the folks who sent me the inquiries just missed the "comment button". So my question is a technical question rather than a strategy question, if that makes sense.

The key to getting people to comment on a blog is to write a great post and to solicit their feedback at the end of the post.  That said, over the years, blog commenting online has dwindled considerably thanks to social media.

Put out great stuff and people will come!
