What Do Your Mailouts Say?
I am trying different wording for mailouts. I am targeting houses that appear to be in disrepair, abandoned, vacant, etc. I am using a typed letter and send it first class of course. Another thread talking about yellow letters stated some sellers get rather upset, etc. Can readers offer suggestions as to their mailouts and what seems to have the most success? Would a hand signed letter possibly get me a little more response? What could be done to make them more attractive and hopefully increase responses from property owners?

That really depends on what your goal is... Yellow Letters flat out make the phone ring however some of the calls are stupid... Postcards slow down the phone a lot however the majority of the calls are a better quality although the quality calls are not as abundant as yellows. The check gets a crazy response somewhere in the middle.
Its like driving a Hummer or a Prius. They both have their place.
