Tenants house hacking my house!!!

Question?I have recently fired my property manager of two years. She was keeping late payment fees from our tenants and not doing the duties of a manager. I recently visited the home and witnessed the tenants HOUSE HACKING MY HOUSE!!!!What should I do???What steps should I take?

If the tenants have people living there who aren't on the lease/ aren't approved co-tenants, then you should send them a Notice to Cure or Quit (or equivalent notice for your area). You'll probably have to evict them and start over with new tenants, next time setting proper expectations about how many people can live there, how long guests can stay, etc. Hopefully it's all very clear in your lease and you can let them know they are violating the lease and need to fix the situation or face eviction.
