Does Strong Property Management Actually Protect Investor Margins Long-Term?

Or does the original deal structure still matter more overall?

@Linda Murray totally depends. If you are busy with a day job or investing out of state and let deferred maintenance, filling vacancies quickly, or rent collection fall through the cracks because you are too busy with other things, then yes hiring a property manager is going to protect your margins long term. It just totally depends whether or not you have the time and ability to be very hands on yourself or not.

But there is no doubt that there are many cases where hiring a property manager in my opinion would save many busy landlords a lot of money and boost NOI instead of trying to self manage.
