Are you Claiming Depreciation CCA?

I am curious to know if you are claiming depreciation on your tax return to CRA.
Why did you opt to claim or not claim CCA?

For my rental, I did claim CCA in the thinking that it is deferral of tax and I will pay the tax man later in the recapture.
