Does a Seller Credit mean a check?

Hi there, I am currently purchasing a property in GA and looking at the closing disclosure report from the bank & I’m trying to understand if the seller credit will mean I’m getting a check from the seller or will that just go towards closing costs? (We negotiated because of some repairs to a HVAC) and seller agreed.

It will reduce the amount of your closing costs by that amount. (And increase the amount on the seller side)
