Has anyone heard of Jerry Norton lot finder or real estate? He is an investor that sells CD's and often coaches people on flipping real estate. I was wondering if he is legit. He has also offered to pay $8,700 for bring him info on vacant lots that meet his criteria. I have tried searching him on the BBB site but no info came up. Is anyone out there know about him and if so does he back up what he says or is he a scam? Thanks for your input.

Hey @Penny Conner, the simple answer is, don't "buy" into any of them. This website is the best resource you will ever find and you don't even have to buy into it. From what I've learned from this site alone, I'm just about to start my new career.

As @Paul Timmins said, check out the podcasts, read the books available here, and check out the Learn tab. If may not be crazy structured, but you will find way more than you'll ever need on this site! No need to wasted tens of thousands of dollars on some self proclaimed guru.

Attend local REIA meetings. These have been a huge networking opportunity for me. If you have $33,000 for a class, I would much rather use that as a down payment on my first income property.
