Paying for Market Data

Brandon Major

New investor here. Would love feedback on how successful investors initiate research on particular markets. Do you pay for data? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I recommend only paying for data if you are buying $10M+ in a specific market or area. There is tons of free data out there you can obtain aong with speaking with other investors in those areas. I tend to speak to real estate agents but do not put as much weight to many as they have more of a bias in regards to markets since its in their best interest to get you to buy or sell.
